In Spring 2011, Duffy launched her eponymous collection to rave reviews. Perfect for the modern woman, Duffy's debut showcased ultra-feminine pieces layered with intelligent nostalgia, charm and luxury; a distinctive look that the designer has since become known for.   

Duffy's eye for detail and extensive knowledge of color, fabric and form continue to be evident each season as she consistently reveals timeless, wearable looks that evoke sophistication and elegance. Duffy continues to develop a strong design philosophy by staying true to her specific point of view. A native of New Jersey, Ms. Duffy has been creating unforgettable feminine fashions for over  8 years. Her driving passion is her love of art drawn from her experience and training in sewing and painting. Her artistic talents naturally progressed into sewing and fashion design. The gifted designer creates her couture fashions through draping over mannequins. Her decidedly contemporary designs are characterized by an exquisite attention to detail, impeccable construction and use of rich luxurious fabrics. She also designs one-of-a-kind gowns.

Tammy Duffy has participated in a number of runway events as a photographer over the years, learning what works in fashion and what does not work.

The Asian and American Bridal Show is an all day event showcasing couture and luxury fashion. It also includes exhibits of luxury brands and fine art as well as world-class entertainment and receptions.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER ...

DUFFY, creator of Tammy Duffy Fashion Designs, was born and raised in New Jersey and was brought up in an entrepreneurial household filled with strong determination as well as guidance from both of her parents.

Tammy’s background in fashion design is first rooted in her family, as her father and mother were business minded and of great spirit. Her mother made all of Tammy’s clothes when she was young and was actually Tammy’s first sewing teacher. As Tammy matured through the years she took it from there -- taking courses in New York and online to further develop her skills. She read all she could on design, fittings, and pattern making.  Tammy’s earliest memories are of her working with her mom and dad in the family business where she developed a taste for interaction with global markets. Watching her mother create her clothing as a child she continued to develop her taste for fabrics and appreciation of detail and quality in craftsmanship: and most of all – her passion for design...

Tammy Duffy serves as a hands on CEO of her Company. In May 2011 Duffy formally began her Company after having created Fashion Designs for over 8 years.  Tammy designs all the garments herself – and having a great love for people -- runs the business and keeps a constant active role in her community.

DUFFY was launched with the debut of the Spring / Summer 2012 Collection. This collection can be described as feminine and flirty. The silhouettes are inspired from the 40’s and 50’s. Fabric selections are meticulously chosen and of  only the highest quality.
